LASAGNE
Ingredients:
Bolognese sauce:
-1 onion
-1 carrot
-1 stick of celery
-2 tablespoons of oil
-1 clove of garlic
-450g lean miced beef
-400g (can chopped) tomatoes
-1 tablespoon tomato pureé
-1 teaspoon dried mixed herbs
-salt and ground pepper
White sauce:
-15 g butter
-15 g plain flour
-300 ml milk
-a pinch of nutmeg
-salt and ground pepper
-175 g easy-cook dried lasagne
-25 g parmesan cheese
Method:
*First, peel the onions,cut in half,slice and chop it, peel the carrot, cut off it´s ends, cut in half, it into strippes and then into small pieces.
*Then, wash the celery, cut off the end, cut in small pieces. In a sauce pan put olive oil and the onion, cook in a mediu heat for five minutes.
*After, peel the garlic and crush in the pan, add the carrot and celery, heat all for two minutes, stirring all the time with a wooden spoon.
*Next, add the beef and cook for10 minutes, when it´s brown, keep stirring when it´s cooking
*Later, put the stock cube into a heatproof jug. Add 300m of boiling water and stir until the stock cube is dissolved, put it on the pan.
*Add the tomatoes (chopped), herbs, a tomato pureé and pepper and salt, heat the sauce , and turn down the heat.
*Then put the lid, cook the sauce for 40 minutes, remove and cook for 10 more minutes.
*Put 50g butter into a pan, heat over in low heat until it melts, take the pan off the heat, stir the flour for a short time
*Add milk, stir, and when it´s smooth, add more milk
*Heat the sauce in medium heat, stirring all the time, when it´s thicker aboil it. Boilt for one minute and then take it off the heat.
*Turn the oven to 180ºC, wipe a paper with some butter, wipe it inside a ovenproof dish.
*Spoon half of the bolognese sauce in the dish, place a single layer on top of the sauce
*Spoon the rest of bolognese sauce, then put other layer of lasagne, spoon the white sauce.
*Grate the parmesan cheese and then sprinkle it.
*Bake the lasagne for about 35 minutes.Then take it out carefully.
*Push a sharp krife to see if it´s cooked, if not, cook it for10 more minutes.
