SINGING TUBES EXPERIMENTS BY PAULA

How to make a singing tube

You need:
-A 19 mm diameter plastic tube, 2 meters long.
-A back saw.
-A mitre box (optional).
-A ruler.
-Coloured adhesive tape (optional).
-A maker.

Directions:
First, use a ruler and a maker to mark the lengths of the eight tubes following the diagram below.
Next, use the saw and the mitre box (if you have one) to cut each plastic tube. Ask an adult for help.
After that, if you want, you can wrap each tube with different-coloured adhesives to differentiate the tubes.
Later, write the notes on each tube, starting with the longest tube and finishing with the shortest one, like: DO, RE, MI, FA, SOL, LA, TI, DO.
Now, you can play! With the palm of your hands you have to strike the tube.
